For a successful appointment:

  1. Make appointments at least two days in advance of your assignment's due date. 
  2. For online and email appointments, please upload your draft, your assignment prompt, and any  additional instructions or relevant materials as Microsoft Word documents. For face-to-face appointments, please bring two copies of your draft, your assignment prompt, and your textbook to the appointment.
  3. Remember that we are happy to show you how to proofread, but we do not edit papers.

Only one paper or writing project per appointment, please. Please do not bring anyone else's writing to work on.

Note: All Summer 2021 consultations are virtual. Select staff members will be offering live synchronous consultations, which students can book by selecting the "Online" option in the appointment form. All other consultations will be done asynchronously by e-mail.

Please upload all attachments to appointments as Microsoft Word documents. Feedback on asynchronous appointments with our consultants will be available within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

Advance appointments are required. We do not accept appointments for assignments on the day that they are due, so please plan ahead.
